Initial Consultation

Our first visit takes between 30 and 45 minutes. At this time, we will go over your pet's routines, any medication requirements, and all pertinent information.  We will also go over the Service and Policy Agreement,  fill out a Client Information Sheet for our files, and discuss our fees. This would be the time to go over any questions that you have.  At this time of the initial consultation you need to be prepared to provide the following:

* While your key is in our possession, it will be stored in a secure lockbox when not in use and will be coded (ie it will not have your name or address on it). You may chose to leave your key with us for future services if you wish.  If you ask us to return the key, there will be a small charge for our time and gas.  Unfortunately we cannot pick up or leave keys "under the mat" due to safety issues.  In addition, we cannot lock keys in the house after the last visit, as we must be able to access your home in case you are delayed and your pet needs additional visits.  We strongly recommend that you let us keep your key for future services.  Many of our clients enjoy the comfort of knowing that if something comes up (e.g., working late, iron or stove left on, etc.), your pet sitter has a key and would be more than happy to help you out in a pinch.
